Harris Management helps our select group of actors, directors, recording artists and athletes find their unique place and brand in the entertainment and business world and help guide their careers to the success they are seeking.
The company was founded by and is led by Earnest Harris who has over 30 years of media, public relations, publicity, film, entertainment, business and management experience.
In addition to managing others, Earnest is an award winning writer (movie scripts, books, magazine features), and a feature film producer and director as well. He has written for some of the leading newspapers and magazines in the country including New York Newsday, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Dallas Morning News, Politico, The Huffington Post, Hispanic magazine, Latina magazine and many others. He has also hosted his own talk radio shows on major radio stations in Austin and St. Louis.
He has written three books, one co-authored with a nationally known psychologist and the other ghostwritten for an internationally known sports figure.
On the filmmaking side, his directorial film debut, A Simple Promise, achieved national distribution and he is in development on several other major films that he and the team are producing.
On the pr side, he has worked for the largest pr company in the world which allowed him to oversee media relations and media strategies for some of the biggest corporations anywhere. He also worked as an executive for an international public affairs firm where among other things he worked alongside advisors to two U.S. Presidents. And he has handled publicity for feature films, documentaries, bands, singers, actors, as well as producers and directors.
Additionally he taught communications at the famed Lyndon Baines Johnson Graduate School for Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin as a Woodrow Wilson Program Instructor.
Dianna Perales Harris, Producer, Manager
Dianna is responsible for overseeing all aspects of projects in production and ensuring the right team is in place to meet the business and financial operational needs of our production projects. Dianna started her professional career in the high-technology world of main-frame computers as a systems analyst. Making the shift to the entertainment arena was natural as she quickly found her skills and experience analyzing, developing, and delivering projects and conceptual problems easily translated to the tasks necessary for successfully producing movies and other entertainment projects. Her uncanny ability to find the right individuals and create collaborative teams with equal measures of talent and passion make her producing chops second to none. As a working producer, Dianna quickly developed these respected and coveted reputations in the film world through her attention to detail, conflict resolution abilities, and problem solving intuition. She is constantly being tapped to produce projects by award-winning actors and production personnel and has worked on all levels of projects from major budgeted motion pictures to smaller, independent fare.
